Property Damage

Sections 74 to 78 of the 1987 Act provide that a worker who has an injury or accident arising out of or in the course of employment is entitled to be compensated for the cost of repairing or replacing damaged clothing, crutches, artificial eyes or teeth, spectacles and other artificial aids.

Damage caused by the serious and wilful misconduct of the worker is not covered. The 1987 Act prescribes maximum amounts for property damage claims.
